Trinnov Audio will showcase its new WaveForming technology at High End Munich, as part of the Perlisten THX-Certified Dominus Home Theater demo. This will be the first chance many integrators get to experience cylindrical WaveForming, a novel technique that sets out to improve low-frequency reproduction in home theatres by actively shaping room acoustics, rather than just treating them.
This approach is said to be particularly beneficial in narrower or acoustically challenging rooms, effectively removing the need for extensive subwoofer arrays.
For the Munich demo, Trinnov has partnered with Perlisten Audio to showcase cylindrical WaveForming as part of their THX Certified Dominus surround system.
“We are thrilled Perlisten chose to collaborate with us on one of the world’s biggest audiophile stages,” said Trinnov CEO Arnaud Laborie. “Our newest WaveForming approach highlights the flexibility and adaptability of Trinnov technologies and will create new opportunities for a wider audience to experience how much better their home theatre setups can sound using our unique and unparalleled approach to room optimization.”
Trinnov will also be a part of two other High End Munich demonstrations:
Potaris using an Altitude32 and an Amplitude16 for a two channel demonstration of its flagship active 3-way high-end loudspeaker the Radipotar. Monitor Audio will use an Altitude16 and an Amplitude16 for a 7.2.4 demonstration.
High End Munich runs May 9-12. Experience the Trinnov demo in Atrium 3.1, room C112.
